PRACTICAS

In the secondary school where I had the opportunity to go ,I n the weekend when I had to practice was the test for the students Enlace I  had to give my classes in the first Monday  I gave them at  in the afternoon ,The classroom where I had the opportunity was 3  C  .A t the beginning  of my class the students knew how did I work and that I was a very  demanding person. So I started with the first activity to have their attention Called Soft Ball, I like so much this activity because it’s very interesting to them and very attractive to catch their attention. The activity in some way its good but you have to pass the ball to all the students, more I guess the ones who are in the back ,because they always  have fun and  that’s not the point so the first activity was good and I made participate all of them  making questions about and in order to  students to say a prediction  .

Like what are you going to be in a future?

Are you going to get married ¿At what age?

We could use this successfully to make in the next stage Presentation of the text

“Talk about future planes”

Make students to identify common and differences when indicate future (will, going to, definitely, probably, maybe .Words and expressions it’s a very difficult duty because they don’t know about their future so they always use probably, maybe.

Present a part off a magazine article about teenagers its very cool for them because they identify with all the paragraphs. And the 3 grade felt very interesting about the topic.

Vocabulary and useful expressions

To make reflection of the language the crossword that the students solve  was very good because It made reflect the language and identify  more  how to talk about useful expressions.

 So I entertain the class

Presentation of the dialogue in a written way

The next activity was make them solve the Conversation related with the text that we just gave them. The 3 grade respond good to the activity I put blanks so they could wrote down what they think.

To evaluate them I made an activity that I had never made to any students Word Scramble, It was a very good activity for them an made think a lot more, so they could organize.

The Second time  of practice I made it the same day after the recess and It was good because I, was not going to  have to  remember what we have seen, and the issue was  relation with the before given.

So to recover previous information seen in the previous lesson I  made a brainstorm with them so ,I asked to some students to pass to the board  one, by one and draw the meaning of probably like 50%  maybe 50% definitely 100% definitely not 0%.

The students had a little bit of problems with this activity so in the next class I will change it for a better one.

To introduce students to the topic about how to talk about peoples certainty and doubt.(definetly, probably maybe,

Going to , will  I used an email .relation with the letter before this email. had a very good answer but something that I didn’t take in account was that in 1900  was not even invented so  that was  a terrible mistake.

But someone made of my students made that observation so I knew that there was analyzing, and putting attention.

For the reading activity a use a letter gave for them put in this time students will resolve the answers for the evaluation but in using the useful expressions  a read the letter first and made that the students repeat after me .}The letter was cool  for them I think, and I had every one envolve in the situation reading one by one.

For make the evaluation a made that all student made a letter with  following  the same procedure ,using expressions like maybe perhaps, definetly but in their personal opinion   butting  expressions that will better fit in their future prediction.

I liked the experience  of the secondary but I guess  that teach is an art and there are a lot of things to learn…………………………………………….

Learning Styles                           BY: ANGEL TELLEZ TULA
                                                 Profesor: Carlos Flores
At the first of my essay I will give a short explication of what is learning styles
Learning styles are simply different approaches or ways of learning. I have  notice that when you try to learn something new that you prefer to learn by listening to someone talk to you about the information, that’s way in America they have a phrase that’s learning by listening, Learning Style Theory proposes that different people learn in different ways and that it is good to know what your own preferred learning style is.
“Auditory Learners or listening learners: They learn best through verbal lectures, discussions, talking things through and listening to what others have to say”, in this case in the times that I went to the secondary school ,I have notice that it’s a  very difficult to hear a classroom without any noice,I read the book called the teacher and the attitude of a student, on the first chapter its the topic called the influence of the teacher and the comunication, when you arrive at a classroom you might always hear voices but that’s not  the problem ,The teacher guides the activity’s ,giving instrucctions,so the listening learners   that only hear vice of the classmates  will not learn a lot of information so a best  gimmicks to attract the public it’s 1.- The tone of voice, in the way you talk it’s the way they put attention , a teacher should be able to get their attentions fairly quickly when he need it, , . Auditory learners interpret the underlying meanings of speech so its necessary when a teacher gives instructions or explanations give them clear, coherent and short as possible you can, or you may find yourself explaining something over and over again. Auditory learners interpret the underlying meanings of speech through listening to tone of voice, pitch, speed and other nuances, so it’s necessary to see all this fact an try to apply them.( http://www.mindtools.com/mnemlsty.html)
In the secondary num.3o I found that a good way to teach and they learn it’s to tend the students curiosity, interest it’s a good way to attract and hold attention, but you also have to maintain.
Visual Learners: learn through seeing...                    .
“These learners need to see the teacher's body language and facial expression to fully understand the content of a lesson”. In this case they have to put attention in every movement, sign, gesture that the teacher made makes, the secondary students are very intelligent they see when the teacher is nervous, our maybe when the teacher doesn’t even Know what is we talking about.so its necessary to a teacher to in account that they may think in pictures and learn best from visual displays including: diagrams, illustrated text books, overhead transparencies, videos, flipcharts and hand-outs (http://www.ldpride.net/learningstyles.MI.htm)
.
In the secondary I think its usual to found and to identify them, They tend to prefer sitting at the front of the classroom to avoid visual obstructions (e.g. people's heads).

Tactile/Kinesthetic Learners:
learn through , moving, doing and touching...
“Tactile/Kinesthetic persons learn best through a hands-on approach, actively exploring the physical world around them. They may find it hard to sit still for long periods and may become distracted by their need for activity and exploration”. The last  learners it’s very difficult to  learn, because in all I had never saw that teacher bring activities to the classroom ,where  the student will be able to touch, move so in this case I assume we as learners bring activities to all kinds of different learners. (http://www.ldpride.net/learningstyles.MI.htm)
In the other hand we have in author Howard Gardner Conceived by him, Multiple Intelligences are seven different ways to demonstrate intellectual ability.
Howard Gardner initially formulated a list of seven intelligences. His listing was provisional. The first two have been typically valued in schools; the next three are usually associated with the arts; and the final two are what Howard Gardner called 'personal intelligences'
“Linguistic intelligence involves sensitivity to spoken and written language, the ability to learn languages, and the capacity to use language to accomplish certain goals”.
In this case  in the secondary school I  have sawn that most of students possess this ability the school values in this case the theories of   Howard, maybe that’s    why  in different countries   they teach another language and  now the object of studying another language it’s not  system itself ,its communicative approach. This intelligence includes the ability to effectively use language to express oneself rhetorically or poetically; and language as a means to remember information. Writers, poets, lawyers and speakers are among those that Howard Gardner sees as having high linguistic intelligence.

“Logical-mathematical intelligence consists of the capacity to analyze problems logically, carry out mathematical operations, and investigate issues scientifically”. In the secondary 30, my time of observation I took a good look of the class of math, and reflect view things of how does a teacher teaches his class, and from the view point of Howard garner. I guess that skill it’s made day after day, and I saw a view of them ho really had this intelligence, there are more Linguistic intelligence than Logical-mathematical and its more easy  for acquire  and develop  grammars, structural, functional and discourses.
In Howard Gardner's words, it entails the ability to detect patterns, reason deductively and think logically. This intelligence is most often associated with scientific and mathematical thinking.
“Musical intelligence involves skill in the performance, composition, and appreciation of musical patterns”. (http://www.infed.org/thinkers/gardner.htm)
“Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence entails the potential of using one's whole body or parts of the body to solve problems” (http://www.infed.org/thinkers/gardner.htm)
Spatial intelligence involves the potential to recognize and use the patterns of wide space and more confined areas.
I would like to conclude by saying that the last essay I mentioned all the types of learning but we need more than an essay to express it. The notion of learning it’s a pedagogical conceptualization of human learning (from cognitive viewpoint) .
It is hard to teach one intelligence; what if there are seven? It is hard to enough to teach even when anything can be taught; what to do if there are distinct limits and strong constraints on human cognition and learning? (Howard Gardner 1993: xxiii)

ENSAYO "COMO APRENDEN LOS ALUMNOS"

¿How do students learn?
In my own personal opinion the last question establish is the most difficult question that I think ,In  my life as a student I wouldn’teven think what is learn.
Learning is acquiring new or modifying existing knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, or preferences and may involve synthesizing different types of information. The ability to learn is possessed by humans, animals and some machines. Progress over time tends to follow learning curves.
Human learning may occur as part of education, personal development, or training. It may be goal-oriented and may be aided by motivation. The study of how learning occurs is part of neuropsychology, educational psychology, learning theory, and pedagogy.
Learning may occur as a result of habituation or classical conditioning, seen in many animal species, or as a result of more complex activities such as play, seen only in relatively intelligent animals. Learning may occur consciously or without conscious awareness. There is evidence for human behavioral learning prenatally, in which habituation has been observed as early as 32 weeks into gestation, indicating that the central nervous system is sufficiently developed and primed for learning and memory to occur very early on in development.
So le lets take a look. What is learn ?R=Learn is the process intervening which the person  acquires  dexterity or skills (motor and intellectual).Every human been since  he s born till he dies always use learning ,we born with out  knowing   how to survive in this world ;but  the world is full of experiences ( the life is to learn ) that  are transformed to experiences .
Besides the experiences  are not all to learn ,that’s why people created schools, school were we have an education formal ,we learn how to read, to write,  problems of math .
In this school there will be mixed Ateacher, and a student and there will be establish a relation between study and student.
To start we have to have a good look to the brain of our student ¿what do they have in their brain? ,the researches that I had make in this school helps me a lot to support what I’m  going to say the Teenagers learn in different ways  Some experts say there are as many as seven different learning styles; but it's easier to narrow it down to three types of learning
“Listening learners.- In this case the ones who  poses this  learning will  be able  to    relation,  understand, the  issue or the  activity. These ones will hear the   instructions,   after making   the activity our responding, and always be attending what    they are telling others.”(1)
Few time ago I heard this words, the community where   the child  learns will  be obligate to learn the particularities of the learn.
“Seeing learners. -   The mentioned watch the situation about the making and try to figure it out. They look everydetail, analyzed, project the situation   and make the    topic, activity etc.” (2)
“Experience learners.-In  this the students  just had a  background  about   what is coming next ,all they  have to do is remember, this  ones had learn based on use of all the sense a while ago about a situation they where involve.”(3)
But this last researches are not all the explain of how does students learn, let’s See what is the other hand each view leads to a different emphasis and consequent neglect of other features of learning.
Students learn, with varying degrees of success, through reading, memorizing, thinking, writing, note-taking in lectures, observing, that’s what I saw in my secondary school were I have been   this is in many  ways  for me the easy  way to respond ,besides the last explication .Each view leads to a different emphasis and consequent neglect of other features of learning. Like some theories that we will mention briefly.
“Behaviorism.-behaviorism concerned itself exclusively with the objective evidence of behavior (measured responses to stimuli) and excluded ideas, emotions, and inner mental experience   in this case I have watched this theory in the secondary where I had chance to observe in the class of English A inner mental of experience leads the student to of imitation, practice an they will have a habit formation of study.  And the then the teacher acts like a guide.”(4)
(1)(2) (3) http://www.worldwidelearn.com/education-articles/how-do-you-learn.htm Read more: (4)http://www.answers.com/topic/behaviourism-psych-in-encyclopedia#ixzz1Flmc6vvh

Constructivism.-Learners build schema that enable them to construct meaning and understanding. In this definition the teacher will build a link between teaching and learning, the students develop by this way new concepts and apply in a start of autonomy learning.
In another point of view  I can say that  one of the type of way that a student learn is memorizingis about getting learning’s  into your head like when we study for an exam  teenagers just have to record to answer questions.
Besides memorizing, Learning is making sense.-Is when the student understand the things around him, and not only try to remember, you have to be able to explain things.
“(In one study, 89.3 percent of questions asked by the faculty required only recall to answer, not comprehension of concepts). ...” (5)
Another fact shows that Learning is understanding reality. - With the background of things you perceive the world differently; when a student see things that they just haven’t seen everything changes.
Facts show that   a  student only learns  Learning Understanding Memorize and Understanding but  why   can a student  finish with  a level   a  strong Knowledge ,it might be that  a teacher is only bottle were you can  just   fill with learning’s, he is a  Fire that must be switched.
At the end the researches that I Had made for this essay shows that student learns based on facts like through reading, memorizing, thinking, and writing.
I would like to conclude by saying that  we must act quickly so  I can write down in this easy  a  answer  that ,will say a student learns step by step ,like a baby accompanied  by  a adult (Teacher)  in this will   forma critical thinking based on his own thinking.

PRACTICAS

The evaluation was made basically in the knowledge that the students have just receive in the class with ther Profesor, and I have reinforzed with the show of that one is obligation ,prohibition and the other is do not do it.
In this sheet of paper the students are useing the use of mus´t, musn't an don't.............
1:-In this imagen the students are seeing the sheet of paper with the respective imagens ,that they will later create with some sentences.
2.-In this imagen I am giveing a feed back about the issue of the importance of some rules in our society....
3.-In this imagen the students are creating the sentences about the topic, useing the use of must must¨t and don't .
4.-The next imagen shows the student writeing the sentence.
